The 2026 Fall design celebrates the pollinators at the farm – the bees! Without the pollinators, the plants and crops around the farm would not be able to reproduce and survive. The bees are always busy gathering pollen and making honey for their colonies and for the long winter ahead.
The race passes by one set of Muscoot beehives on the farm road about 1/4 mile into the races (and also on the way back in the home stretch of the 5 miler!). In late October around race time the bees are hard at work building up their winter food.
