Spring Run the Farm 2026 is TOMORROW!

Tomorrow is race day and the weather forecast is calling for a warm day — at least by the afternoon. The course is relatively dry except for some puddles on the farm road.

Directions

Directions to the park are here.

If you want the short version of our many notes and emails to runners and family, here it is:

→Arrive early, HYDRATE, stay safe, have fun.

“Early” definition: arrive on site at least 40 minutes BEFORE your race start time. So if you have a child running at 8:30am in the kids race, you should be exiting your parked car at Muscoot by 7:50am. The parking is across the street from Muscoot. You will need some extra time, especially with small kids.

Our online signup is open until 7pm on 5/16. On-site registration begins 7:00am on race morning 5/17.

Check the detailed logistics notes posted online for the races for more information, maps, annotated aerial photos, links, etc:

— Kids Races 8:30am start: https://runthefarm.org/2026/05/spring-2026-kids-run-the-farm-logistics/

— 5 Miler 9:30am start: https://runthefarm.org/2026/05/spring-run-the-farm-2026-logistics/

If the weather is chilly at the start of the 5 mile race, we recommend wearing an extra layer before the race gets underway. Then just before the start, leave your outer layer on the fence or stone wall near the start line. They will be waiting for you when you finish.

One request from our registration volunteers: The activity building where the bib pickup is located can get very crowded and loud. Once you pick up your number or your kids number, please exit the building. This allows others to pick up their bibs efficiently.

We open the food & coffee up for runners once the races have started. That ensures there is plenty for all finishers — and runners get first crack.

See you at the Farm!

***Note: no dogs allowed at Muscoot Farm, except trained service dogs as defined by the ADA!***

PS: the Fire Tower Trail Half Marathon & 10k (6/7/26) is in three weeks at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River NY. It is the FIRST running of this hilly half marathon & 10k trail run that celebrates the restoration of the Cross River Mountain Fire Tower (crmfiretower.org) to its rightful place at the Rez.
