BIG NEWS!

On Friday, May 8th, 2026, the Friends of Muscoot Farm presented the County of Westchester and the Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department with two lift-accessible hayride wagons for use at Muscoot Farm for people with mobility issues to be able to enjoy the very popular and fun hayrides that the farm is known for.
The fundraising was done by the Friends of Muscoot in 2025 in the lead up to the Muscoot Farm’s 50th Anniversary gala held at Muscoot Farm in September 2025.
Runners from Run the Farm in the Spring and Fall of 2025 contributed over $3,000 towards this effort — which helped make it a reality in 2026.
On hand last week from the Friends of Muscoot Farm were board members Sue Moga (President), Paul Lewis, Debbie Behler (secretary), and Bob Cilia (treasurer).
They were joined by Ken Jenkins, County Executive & Erika Pierce, District 2 County Legislator, as well as Peter Tartaglia, First Deputy Parks Commissioner, Jason Klein, Director of Conservation, and Jonathon Benjamin, Muscoot Farm Manager.
Ken Jenkins gratefully accepted the gift on behalf of Westchester County and the Parks, Recreation, & Conservation Department.

We are looking forward to seeing the new wagons in action in the coming seasons!
