The final race in the Trail Mix Series is the Raven Rocks Run. It is set for November 10, 2024 at 9am at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, NY. Come out and run the Raven!
this has a bunch of errors, ton of people got lost on the course; I was in the front pack, 5th place the whole race and a large group appeared in front of me on the last mile that never passed me prior. course needs to be clearer next year.
These results are probably quite wrong for the 5mile… many (at least early runners) missed the poorly indicated hairpin turn of the white trail.. some (like me) went straight back to the farm and realized something was wrong after « finishing » in 25minutes.. but many went straight through the white trail and shaved off at least 0.5mile and the second climb. For those who « finished » and went back on the trail after realizing the problem, we actually didn’t even run the proper course the second time as we only went back on the white trail..
But long story short: we need better signage of key turns !!
Are pictures up yet? if yes, where is the link
