Tomorrow is race day and the weather forecast is looking good – if a bit cold in the morning!
When the weather is chilly at the start of the race, we recommend wearing an extra layer before the race gets underway. Then just before the start, leave your outer layer on the fence or stone wall near the start line. They will be waiting for you when you finish.
One request from our registration volunteers: The activity building where the bib pickup is located can get very crowded and loud. Once you pick up your number or your kids number, please exit the building so others can pick up their bibs efficiently.
Check the logistics notes posted online for the races:
— Kids Races 8:30am start: http://runthefarm.org/2018/10/kids-run-the-farm-logistics-2018/
— 5 Miler 9:30am start: http://runthefarm.org/2018/10/run-the-farm-logistics-2018/
If you want the tl;dr version, here it is:
Arrive early, hydrate, stay safe, have fun.
See you at the Farm!
…Tony, Judy, Rob, and the Run the Farm volunteers
