Run the Farm is a 5 mile trail race and a separate kids race (“Kids Run The Farm”) run on the trails of Muscoot Farm’s 777 acre Westchester County Park.
The fourth annual race date is TBD but will be in October 2013. We’ll post the date at the website when we know it.
The third annual races were run on:
Date: Sunday, Oct 21st, 2012
Time: 9:15am (kids race 8:30am)
Place: Muscoot Farm, Katonah, NY
The Kids Run The Farm race is split into two divisions:
- kids 7-12 will run a course that is approximately 1.1 miles long. Race heat 1 will start at 8:30am sharp.
- kids up to 6 years old will run a course that is approximately 0.6 miles long. Parents (or older sibling) are strongly encouraged to run with children 5 and under. Race heat 2 will start at 8:34am sharp (4 minutes after the older kids heat since the courses intersect — and the 4 minutes allows time for the older kids to clear the course).
Both kids divisions will finish at same spot next to the main race starting area. The main event race (5 mile) will not start until the kids race is finished.
